We recently hired River’s business, Lawnzilla, to overhaul our lawn. Our seashore paspalum grass had become spongy, and needed thatching (we thought). River and Dakota came out and advised that we’d need it scalped with a reel mower, as the regular mowers just keep taking off the top layer. The 2 of them ended up being able to take 2 pickup truck loads out of the lawn with the reel mower. Then they came back with a load of sand and spread it to even out & level the lawn. The grass is growing back happily, on its way to looking like a putting green! We look forward to continuing to use Lawnzilla for our yard needs.
Lawnzilla is the best! I requested help via the website and got a call right away from River, who soon after stopped by my house to talk about the scope of work. I needed sprinklers/pipes repaired and help finding sprinkler main stations in the yard. My thick, spongey grass needed to be cut with a mower that could get lower than my gardener's mower. And I needed a few trees trimmed, one which was dead. River and his brother Dakota got it all done, educating me along the way about proper lawn care. Figuring out the sprinkler system was a challenge and they met it...finding the stations, installing a timer, repairing sprinkler heads, etc. The green waste piled in the driveway was scooped up and hauled away as they left. A great crew of two and my yard got the rehab it sorely needed. I highly recommend Lawnzilla because they know what they are doing, they give an estimate of time and cost before they begin the work, and they are efficient, professional, and very personable.
River and Dakota are attentive and reliable, great at communicating and already making a huge difference in the health and beauty of our lawn/landscaping boarders!
